Shimano Vanford 5000 Compact XG Spinning Reel

The all new Shimano Vanford series builds on the iconic Stradic Ci4+ to become the ultimate finesse reel. It uses a lightweight Ci4+ body, with a new MGL rotor that makes the reel 48% lighter to turn. This spin reel also includes Silent Drive and Micromodule Gear II for light and extra smooth reeling.

The Vanford has X-Protect for strong water resistance, and cold forged Hagane gears for incredible durability. This increases the toughness of the roller clutch and line roller to meet the IPX8 standard. This spin reel also has better casting performance thanks to the new Long Stroke spool design.
